       @randomgeek @seven If you start with one that can do hdmi and ethernet out, plus a usb3 you can daisy from there and leave a couple ports...

       @randomgeek You are in good shape, I just have a hodgepodge on my home desk that links all that stuff together from one port (the cable has a red nail polish on the end so I know what the hell is going on).

       @seven the real fun trick is the cables that lead to keyboard / audio switches for when I'd rather be on the PC.At some point I'll get a proper KVM switch.

       @randomgeek There are options, I use mostly synergy and that sharemouse program. You can use both, sharemouse for the other macs, synergy for everything else all driven from my primary machine. I mostly works, except when synergy goes nuts on a linux box (that happens more than it should).
