@ansuz I've had a groin surgery before- take it easy. Walking will help, although at first it's going to be really uncomfortable. Get yourself a cane or something to lean on while it heals because the pain is going to take your energy and devour it.

@ansuz It'll actually be worse for you than it was for me, as I just had things 'adjusted' as it were and you actually had things removed.Can't recommend enough a cane or something just in case that pain hits you the right way and takes your breath away, though.
