       As a bisexual, I feel especially disgusted by the cis bisexuals participating in this. How can you struggle with an ambivalent and multipart sexual orientation and not come away with the conclusion that the idea of there being a stable and concrete binary sex/gender system is an obvious scam?

       @coleoptera I've heard it said that Ann Lister's diaries were a big deal for the radfem community when they came out because political lesbians had been arguing actually having sex with women was a modern phenomenon caused by patriarchy.

       @alice According to (trans elder and activist) Roz Kaveney, yes. The uk queer/radfem community was a weird place in the 80s - it's where the current wave of transphobia comes from.
