@ThomasWic it’s in the right location for a stoma (feeding tube to stomach or jejunum). My grandmother had a colostomy bag but it was on her right side, not left. Could be an insulin or other pump but the ones I’ve seen are lower profile.

At first, I, too, thought it might be a device. But the more I looked at where it goes up on both the left and right sides of the dress and also noticing some gathers in the fabric, it looks to me like it may be a lace inset. @ThomasWic It's either a feeding tube (which SHOULD be placed more to the left side than that) or it's a medicinal delivery device such as the last ditch effort to save what's left of her colon from any myriad of diseases. Those delivery devices for the colon are usually lower down, but if she's already lost most of her colon, it's delivering the meds right below her stomach.Either way, I think her doctors are laughing their asses off at her.

@ThomasWic In summer photos, I thought she may have been carrying a portable oxygen concentrator disguised as a purse. In one photo, her lips looked slightly cyanotic.She can easily slip the tubing and nasal canula under those huge dresses and hold the canula to her nostrils when she needs some oxygen.Other summer photos show her stomach more clearly and there’s no sign of an ileostomy bag or other type of device.
