@nonetrix nothing?That machine isn't doing that much, it's my backup machine, and because it's mostly idling, it runs boinc and a torrent client to seed dozens of Linux ISOs

@nonetrix I wish I could use it for more... It's an older server (HPE DL360 G7) but is still pretty powerfull... But atm, I don't know anything else that I could run on it. All the other services are running on other servers :/

@nonetrix I even downgraded it from 240GB to 144GB, because I didn't needed it.I bought some used registered ECC RAM from a more or less local guy on a website similar to craigslist for around 95$ for 22x 8GB 1600MHz reg. ECC

@nonetrix funny enough, I just thought a second. And almost all of my electronic devices have their maximum RAM capacity.Homeserver: i7-4770 with 32GBGaming PC: i7-4770 with 32GBNAS: i7-3770 with 16GB (has only two RAM slots)Phone: 4GB (there was a 3GB version of it)Laptop: i7-2640 with 16GBExternal Server 1: Xeon E3-1270 with 32GB regECCExternal Server 2: 2x Xeon E5645 with 144GB regECC (could use 288GB i think)Firewall: AMD GX-412TC with 4GB regECC (there is a 2GB version without ECC)you can't have enough RAM ^^

@nonetrix well, some of the machines really need it. My gaming PC is struggling with 16GB, because it's the only machine with Windows on it, and I have always a lot of programs open. The servers are all hosts for virtual machines/containers and need it as well. And for my firewall i wanted ECC ;)

@null @nonetrix the features are actually pretty boring, I don't want gaps, because i want to use the whole screen. I don't want a bigger i3bar because of the same reason, I disabled borders, mostly because of the same reason and it looks nicer without it.
