@Luxotek Oh yeah I keep replacing the microswitches in my mouse (made specifically for CAD applications) every so often. D2F-01F (Japanese Omron) are pretty good switches though; much better tactile feedback and longevity than the usual D2FC-F-7N (Chinese Omron). One day I will have designed and built my own mouse with switch sockets so you don’t have to use a soldering iron to replace them. And everything else will be designed to minimize wear (e.g. optical encoder scroll wheel as opposed to a shitty potentiometer).

@lachs0r yeah my dad has some spare switches I think will fit this one that he bought cause he kills his old school generic looking track balls on the reg..but you can just as easily rebend the little piece of brass in the switch if you have a pair of tweezers and a steady hand to put it back in..the problem is all the screws are under the slidey pad things and they barely survived the last time I had to fix the buttons which was like a month after I got it.. so ugh

@Luxotek Oh yeah I hate the screws underneath the gliders. I swear they’re doing this out of spite.
