       @pixelfed "Federation with Funkwhale" seems confusing to me in the post. Imo, it's different to post audio-only posts from Pixelfed (what I understood the poll asked) than being able to follow funkwhale accounts from Pixelfed (which is the fediverse "phylosophy").

       @marcelcosta Pixelfed wouldn't itself support audio posts in the Compose UI but we considered audio posts via funkwhale federation.Funkwhale is a cool project, but it's not a right fit according to that poll.

       @tromino @pixelfed In my opinion, one option affects pixelfed ecosystem while the other only affects the user that decides to follow funkwhale accounts.

       @tromino @pixelfed I see your point and I partialy agree with you. But I also think that one of the strengths of the fedyverse is particularly the capacity to follow content from any app and removing the necessity to have accounts of every one.

       @pixelfed @marcelcosta if people dont what to have audio posts in their timeline, why not muting audio posts? Is it possible?I think we shouldn't break the very idea of fediverse!!!
