       @garfiald @kioskwitch Well, it's perfectly suited to the only tone Nolan can really do, it's a scenario that allows him to flex his technical skill in some really impressive ways, the emotional stuff works because it's all nolan-compatible emotions like stress  and anguish and also it's a scenario where he doesn't need to show any women, which is good because his female characters suck
