@ThomasWic @DuaneCates @redwhitebluedude I went on a cruise last year with mostly Americans on board (I'm Aussie). I was amazed that almost everyone wanted to talk politics. Most hated PDJT blindly while others sussed you out on the quiet. They were the Trump supporters who were excited to meet another Trump supporter and were relieved to be able to say what they thought. And boy did they want to talk. All that time having to hold their tongues. The left is in for another big surprise come 2020.

They all parroted what MSM told them but if I (innocently hehe) asked questions, they didn't have a clue. Some of those I was able to plant a seed so they'd think. I'd say I don't really understand your immigration system. It makes no sense to me that xyz. Most had no idea what was even going on. Amazing disconnect for those so into politics lol

He told me he got into an argument with his rabbi, an Obama supporter, after a sermon endorsing Obama.His patients were from all political backgrounds. His politics didn't affect his care.I told him he should run for office. He said he cared to much for his patients. I believed him.

@redwhitebluedude We need to enlarge our definition of the word "religion." The author of that post is showing all the symptoms of religious fervor. They are on a moral crusade to impose their righteous edicts on others.A commitment to science as a total replacement for religion doesn't liberate you from the irrationality that we sometimes ascribe to religious faith. The only non-medical convo we've had was the last time I was there, two weeks ago.I wished her Happy New Year in advance and she smiled at me warmly and said "thank you."She's Jewish.
