       @mooboat @ernmander +1 for this!I have a second hand X1 Carbon. Cost me around £300 and is awesome.You can get them much cheaper than that though. Someone wrote about them recently, let me see if I can find the link...

       Thanks for the shout out, @kev! @ernmander, you can't go wrong with a used ThinkPad IMO - you can find one to suit virtually any budget and they're built to last
