Yikes! This guy just rambles on and on about Epstein. Funny how he's painting him as some sort of victim. With a disease like tuberculosis but then he cut ties... he knows it's nothing like that, no one cuts ties with someone because they got tuberculosis. Then him going back and forth between threats and pleading with the journalist. He even threatens to stab him. He's incredibly stupid for a scientist. https://www.motherjones.com/crime-justice/2019/08/jeffrey-epstein-my-very-very-sick-pal/

@mariel I like the quote about “educated” people knowing the history of sexual perversions. Those are the conversations I want to have, the small detailed nuances of sexual perversions. It’s going to be a much better world without these guys.... They’re all miserably the same, evil always is.

@Lemonhead @benkostka @mariel I had a slightly different take on this interview. Stuart Pivar sounds like an emotional, excitable ekderkyman (89 y/o) who feels bad about his former friend, Epstein. I think he was shocked by it all, and realized years ago that Epstein was deranged (I agree, FWIW), and is torn about feeling bad for him vs disgusted by him.It sounds like he thought about it a lot over the years, and ended up reading about satyrism. 🤷🏼‍♀️He was right to not trust the reporter.

@mariel There's always a choice.Giving in to your base desires is what defines you.I saw an interview with an Iraqi Shia cleric. They asked him if he wanted alcohol and nightclubs banned in Iraq. Here's what he said."No, because if you have no opportunity to sin, you aren't a moral person. The definition of morality is choosing to refrain from indulging in opportunities to sin."@DuaneCates

@ThomasWicI 100% agree it's still a choice. It's a truth more need to understand before anything can improve. @DuaneCates

@ThomasWic @mariel People that try to EXPUNGE every scintilla of "The Devil" end up living Secret Lives that then ERUPT in a Volcano of Embarrassment because the Devil is a NECESSARY Facet of your Body, Mind & Soul...to DEAL with a Material World. But your're supposed to learn to CONTROL that Facet so that it's called upon ONLY at the right time, right place & right reason.

@ThomasWic I feel like I’m in deep shit, if that’s the case.(Anyone know where there’s a hermitage for sale?) Nevertheless, ADHD and PTSD do more to keep me out of trouble, while offering plenty of opportunities to just dive in and fuck things up. But I’m also old, so far beyond my prime that I don’t even know what happened to the pump. OK. All I’m saying is, if someone has ADHD and PTSD pushing them to make wrong decisions and they’re able to keep from going into rage, THAT making choice.
