@umad80 Jim Hoft has been paid off.He links to an article that offers ZERO EVIDENCE that there's a natural cure for pancreatic cancer.When both your parents die of cancer, it means you have pretty much a 100 percent chance of getting it yourself.I've done my research.There's no natural cure for cancer. that company was deplatformed because it was misleading people and causing them to die.

@ThomasWic @umad80 Very true. Both of mine were claimed by cancer. I found I can be screened, take certain measures to prevent certain cancers or at least push it back. That doesn’t mean that my proclivity is there and always will be. No such thing as a holistic cure.

@ThomasWic @umad80 Spontaneous remissions from cancer can and do occur. But very infrequently.If this happens while one is undergoing natural or unconventional therapy, then it’s called a cure. But it’s not.

@ThomasWic My mom passed from liver cancer, will be 5 years in December. She was on some sort of medicine for about 4 years then it stopped working. She died within 3 months.

@ThomasWic As far as I know, my bio father has had no cancers.But my mom has had ovarian (2003) and breast cancer (2011). Usual remedies: surgery, chemo. In her favor, she doesn't drink, smoke, do drugs, and never has. And they caught both early.But there's this: we prayed. I refused to believe that I was going to lose her and, most importantly, she refused to believe it.Ovarian cancer often takes women out quickly. But Mom is still here.@umad80

@ThomasWic @umad80 What makes Hoft sound even more crazy—RBG is 86. Even IF there was a natural cure I don’t think it’d be effective at 86. At 59 My step dad was told he had a rare form of bone cancer & w/out treatment had abt 2yrs left. The cancer went into remission. He lived 17 yrs b4 it came back. He got treatment but at 76 it sucked the life right out of him. He died 7 months later. Ruth is 86. It’s hard to fight cancer at any age BUT at 86 I’d think survival rate significantly decreases.

@umad80 @baldilocks Cancer treatment has made incredible strides.They can make it a chronic condition that won't reduce your lifespan.I know an 87-year-old who beat Stage IV metastasized ovarian cancer.She's now in her seventh year of being cancer free. A checkup every three months is all she has to do, cancer-wise.

@ThomasWic @umad80 @baldilocks My brother, at age 67, was diagnosed with very aggressive stage 3 (internal) Melanoma. It started INSIDE his body and grew a huge tumor OUTWARD. He refused medical treatment until he had mo choice. An 11 hr surgery, radiation + immunotherapy succeeded. They gave him the new immunotherapy given to Jimmy Carter for the cancer. My brother is still alive and going strong. A checkup every 3 months & so far he is clear of cancer. Just incredible.

@ThomasWic I'm so sorry for you and your family over that. I took care of my dad the week he was dying. He just stopped eating or taking fluids. Hospice came, brought in a hospital bed, a booklet about the processes in dying. It's awful to watch and hear...the moaning & crying out. I don't know if he felt the starvation, dehydration...all of it. I was given morphine to administer. His death certificate showed "failure to thrive" as COD. A "natural death" can be much worse than a quick one.

@ThomasWic when I was diagnosed with a triple negative breast cancer, I had numerous people urging me to go the holistic route. Glad I wasnt swayed by them.Chemotherapy, surgery and a short regiment of radiation removed all cancer. I'm truly blessed. Both parents died of cancers.

I AM the proof that there are spontaneous remissions from terminal cancer and that there are natural remedies that work for it too.In 1983, I went from perfect health at 24 years old and in four months lost 60 lbs.By the time my father dragged me to the hospital against my will, I hadn't been able to eat for several weeks and could not even bear to drink water.
