       I’m really scared guys. Not even out of bed and I get a panicked call from my sister to go outside and see how close a fire is to the house/ if we can even see the smoke. The smoke was coming from right over the hill. We packed up everything we could. The animals. Photo albums, proof of residency.. but not like. Old stuff.. handmade quilts, clothes, I left my laptop and VERY STUPIDLY forgot my debt card so I have 0$. (1/?)

       We’re safe as of right now. Me, my brother, two scared cats, and three dogs all made it to our step grandparents house further into town. They’re luckily out of town and I had house keys from dog sitting before. We’re all safe. But I have no money, brother has some, and we didn’t bring food or litter for the animals. I don’t want to lose another house to a fire. I already sifted through the ashes of old photo albums and priceless things passed down. I cant do this again

       Pictured: my brothers cat, who HATES being held especially by me, clinging to me for dear life (and crying like a human boy it was weird); and my dog Pippa standing on the dash of my car (while stopped) because there was no room anywhere else. Bean the cat is in the only carrier we had. Currently I have no idea where the cats are now. They’re hiding in my step grandparents house where we’re safe but unfortunately now the cats have gone silent
