@Lemonhead I hate to lose a tree. Happens, though. I am still working on getting up all the dead trees here on my one acre when I moved here two years ago.Working on it!

@Lemonhead I plan on planting eucalyptus this fall. I have had several. So lovely, you can take clippings for vases, they smell so good.I put clippings in the fireplace as well. They are highly flammable.

@Lemonhead That tree is absolutely gorgeous. Does not look like the eucalyptus I have planted here. What I have planted was called silver dollar eucalyptus, indigenous to Australia. Koalas eat them. The fact that they are flammable is not a bad thing, just good to know. I will be planting several.I did kill one by having a pitfire too close to it on New Year's Eve. It died. Do you know more about that tree and I am in Texas, would it grow here?

@Lemonhead Could be that it is very old. The ones I planted would be at other places now. I need to pass by there and see what it looks like. It would be 14 yrs old now, the one that lived. I move too much, no more, staying here now.

@Lemonhead Definitely an old tree. I am glad you took a pic of it. I was really thinking hard on the eucalyptus, I will look it up and see what I can find.I had no idea they could get that big. They grow very quickly and do very well in extreme heat, difficult circumstances. This helped a lot! Thank You!
