OK I"m going to have to give up. I walked everybody through how prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi prosecuted the Manson case, explained the real reason behind the Tate/LaBianca murders. In response, people decided to say Bugliosi was a hack covering up for Hollywood's rich and famous pedos, and besides, there was a cool new book that came out recently that PROVED Manson was a CIA agent! Let me just briefly go over what this stupid article in the LA Times gets wrong. First, the reporter buys into O'Neil's absurd claim that Bugliosi believed Manson really was trying to start a race war called "Helter Skelter. This is 100% false. In his book, Bugliosi discusses at length what he believed the real motive for the murders to be: Manson was scared he was losing control of the cult to Tex Watson.

Manson's stupid FOLLOWERS believed it was about a race war; Manson himself never did. So O'Neil, to sell his own book, tries to convince people that Bugliosi swallowed this absurd theory that these murders happened to foment a race war. Then O'Neil goes on to speculate that Manson was actually being run by the CIA through his parole officer.

By the end of the book O'Neil has spun an alternate reality where Bugliosi is a dirty cop protecting Hollywood pedos and famous people by **hiding** the real reason for the Manson murders, and that Manson & his gang were allowed to kill because the CIA was pulling all the strings here.

@drawandstrike Old pal old buddy old friend.I know all about Manson.He was a cheap con artist who developed a knack for overwhelming people with words.When you STUDY his words, you see that he was simply baffling with BS. The fact that all his followers were on LSD helped.Another recent claim is that the CIA was going to send Manson to Iraq to foment an uprising against Saddam.Conspiracy theories are getting stupider.

@drawandstrike The weirdest part to me is that the people who claim to believe in these massive, centuries-old global secret societies will also go on at length about just how incompetent those secret society's favored bureacrats are at even the most basic tasks.If only some of the brilliant minds behind the ongoing "MK Ultra" were put to work streamlining the DMV or making the TSA more effective.

@ThomasWic @drawandstrike Bugliosi's prosecution of Manson and his foul tribe was truly brilliant. The whole thing seemed unimaginable at the time. But he did a fantastic job of building his case meticulously.It would have been nice if he was still a prosecutor when OJ went on trial.Oh well.
