       Hey new Mastodon.art friends!As soon as the mods can jump on it, they can ban that spam follower instance from talking to our instance.  Unfortunately this kind of crap happens.Until then, here's how you can mute all the incoming requests:  Click on the user names of one of the spam followers, then click the litte 3 dot options button next to their "Follow" button.  Then select the "Hide everything from ... " option!Thanks for your patience!

       One of the cool things about mastodon is anyone can start up their own instance, and even make their own bots.One of the terrible things about mastodon is anyone can start up their own instance, and even make their own bots.Make sure to use the block, mute, and report tools freely!  While the moderation staff on the fediverse is largely all volunteer, they're much more likely to respond to problems!
