Can anyone recommend a domain registrar with a great dns service where I can manage my own dns and zones. I am looking for a look like iwantmyname.com #domain #hosting #dns

@iah https://www.inwx.de/en/domain/pricelist has support for .se, .nu.; Webinterface for DNS+DNSSEC. Supports Slave DNS servers, DynDNS (haven't tried), and pre-defined sets of DNS servers per domain.Support can receive PGP email. API access.Been with them for over a decade. Can absolutely recommend.Downside: Google stuff on the website.

@iah Domain name registrars only do anything DNS related if you’re hosting with them too since name registration and DNS are kind of different things.

@louwestin @iah with that said if you really want to get fancy with DNS then you could run your own DNS server.For domain registration I use Porkbun.com and linode.com for hosting. They offer DNS management, but you can do something different like I mentioned.

@iah I would say Namecheap for both or Namecheap as a registrar + Freedns for dns.
