       Just picked up my Arizona driver’s license. I now have THREE valid driver’s licenses. One from Pennsylvania, one from Arizona, and one from Austria (which never expires, yay Europe).I sort of feel like Jason Bourne when he finds all his passports.

       @thomasfuchs the european ones now have expiration dates, and ones without an expiration date won’t be valid anymore starting 2031

       @eazy @Thegcat wait so it costs 25 euros to exchange it (plus you waste at least half a day) or 10 euros if they catch you? so why would anyone change it? (in 20+ years of driving, my license was checked exactly once)

       @thomasfuchs From my understanding no license without an end date will be valid after 19.1.2033 anymore, so if they catch you after that it's akin to driving without a valid license, which is more than 25€ and a half-day hassle. The 10€ only apply for the time between "please get a new one before then" and "after 19.1.2033 it's not valid anymore". You have to change it anyways.
