@feynmanI agree with @one, especially because phones are not reliable enough (and often not a _second_ factor!) - use some dedicated device. Also #Nitrokey is a good option or http://tomu.im/ I'm #Tomu.@switchingsocial

@feynman @switchingsocial If you use BitWarden, it has TOTP for paid users. There are a bunch of Android Clients, too: https://www.protectimus.com/blog/10-most-popular-2fa-apps-on-google-play/

@CyReVolt @feynman @switchingsocial Yeah, if you want to switch roms or upgrade your phone, you have to make sure you save your tokens... That is if you can, and remember to. If you drop your phone in the toilet, then byebye.I keep my yubikeys always attached to my backpack with a retractible cord, so the only real thing I should worry about is dropping my backpack on a ship overboard, and that's probably never going to happen anyway.

@CyReVolt @feynman @switchingsocial And... Yeah, if your phone gets malware, you can kiss goodbye to your tokens.

@feynman @switchingsocial BitWarden and/or Aegis Authenticator. I used to use andOTP till I found out the issues with it's backup encryption and fingerprint unlock (https://www.reddit.com/r/androidapps/comments/b45zrj/dev_aegis_authenticator_secure_two_factor/ej4g6ll/) I love BitWarden and use it to fill in my TOTP codes for everything but my financial sites and BitWarden itself!

@feynman @switchingsocial If the site allows for standard TOTP authentication, andOTP is a very good choice.
