@fribbledom The Mono Project, I fixed a bunch of bugs and request features, plus in Debian, they are still using the framework I helped write for installing .NET packages (before NuGet). And Atom, with spell-checking and other contributions.

@fribbledom Hmm...Of the things I've open sourced, I think FLAT because it attracted a few contributions and a port to a platform that I never expected.Of other people's projects, probably Neverball. I still love the game, and even though my direct contributions were small or focused on side-stuff like websites/community activities/etc., I feel like I had a big positive impact while I was a part of the development community.

@fribbledom probably ffmpeg. I haven't touched any of the actual a/v codecs, but i have gotten in some fixes in supporting code and filters. Most proud of the fact that the fps filter no longer causes OOM killer when there's big gaps in frame timestamps :)And the windows "gdigrab" screen capture support is lol. I developed that in Wine and only tested it in real windows later.

@fribbledom just the one project (openbsd) but my proudest individual commit was rolling our human-readable changelogs over to the new release. It felt like I'd succeeding in helping connect users and devs, and participating in the release process made me feel like a true member of the team.

@fribbledomOne of the greatest programming languages: crystal. :) I contributed to its standard library but i'm most proud of the few features I added to the compiler. Since crystal was/is such a young language there was a lot of low hanging fruit and the incredibly welcoming community made it a great experience.

@fribbledom dygraphs. My first foray into open source, and the first time I got brave enough to submit a PR with my bug report. (Impostor syndrome, anyone?)Then I got braver and added a new feature, but the lead dev has dropped the project so it may never see the light of day...

@clacke ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜I'm really happy with how Cells came out. Ken had been using eager dataflow on Allegro exclusively, and I'd been doing lazy constraints on CMUCL, SBCL and MCL. The synthesis of our work together had more a flavor of what he'd been doing, but was so much better than either approachIt's a real shame it didn't catch on more. We were 15-20 years ahead of the reactive hype. I'm still waiting for as well founded and powerful a system ๐Ÿ˜›@fribbledom
