Last night i had a sudden attack of severe vertigo. It got worse and worse until I couldn't really balance well enough to walk, and just had to lie down. This morning it's a lot less bad but still bothersome. No other symptoms but it feels like the room is spinning or I'm on the tilting deck of a ship. I'm going to see a doctor about it later today.WebMD says one possible cause is "brain tumor", so I'm just going to assume it's a brain tumor until proven otherwise 👍

@nindokag these days I assume everything is a migraine until proven otherwise. But also, please be okay.

@Kitts The doctor fixed my vertigo by re-aligning my ear crystals!“ear crystals” sounds totally made-up but they are real, there's microscopic chunks of calcium carbonate which are supposed to be attached to the mucus membrane inside your cochlea, but they can come loose and it really messes with your balance!the doctor had me hang my head upside down off the edge of a bed and he turned it around the x, y, and z axes and suddenly my gyroscope was reset and the room stopped spinning!

@nindokag I'm glad it was a low trouble fix. It's like when your phone asks you to twirl it around to get it's GPS fix. :D

@nindokag I'd react same way! Terrifying but vertigo can be caused by a lot of things I believe. I sometimes I get a day or so of dizziness from season allergies- no other symptoms AT ALL! After a day or so it just goes away but when dizzy you basically can't function..

@nindokag you're definitely not the first person I would have thought could be healed by crystal realignment. But I'm glad it worked! And now I've learned a new thing about ears.
