I really dislike using a display manager with i3/kde combo but haven't yet figured any sensible other way. Also kde-wallet keeps giving my headaches but luckily sddm handles gnome-keyring fluently.

@symeI did run it for a while. All good except patching those was too much of a hazzle for me.

@hundAt least before kde didn't work that well without sddm. It had problems when waking up from suspend etc. Of course I can start sddm manually, maybe write a script for it but haven't bothered yet.
