@fluffy kaniini's correct; it's an intentional Mastodon misfeature. I can't find the Github issue at the moment but Garolog said Mastodon won't implement this on the grounds that transparency about blocking could provoke the people that have been blocked.Don't ask me to explain why that sounded like a good idea to the guy, I have no clue what he's thinking.
