       @Ste1lar @ocean I know we're joking around, but when I go to the beach there's almost always more straws on the ground than forks or spoons. I've also noticed a lot more turtles on the beach with more tumors than normal. I don't know if that is due to what they are eating, but it makes me really sad to see them in pain and with failing health.

       @wistahe @ocean  but they are banning straws and not forks/spoons/knifes or CUPS, Staws are important because disabled people need them sometimes to eat.

       @Ste1lar @ocean That's also another important concern. My university offers paper straws which work fine, but cups in particular are bad. Cups are really easy to make out of something besides plastic and I've noticed more cups littered than forks or spoons. Maybe that should be a bigger focus.
