https://vez.mrsk.me/freebsd-defaults.htmlcan anyone comment on this "freebsd defaults" thing? it's apparently a criticism of all the security-related things they're doing wrong, but since I don't use freebsd [yet?] I can't say one way or the otheralso I just woke up so I haven't read it and it's way too long for this early in the morning

@koenaro This was written by an OpenBSD user and developper if I remember correctly. It contains some valid criticisms, but keep in mind that #FreeBSD and #OpenBSD have very different focus and priorities.

@koenaro I'll add that #HardenedBSD from @lattera tries to address many of these criticisms.Worth investigating IMHO.

@koenaro A few things are valid criticisms, I also have my own issues with defaults being unhelpful and good features that exist being disabled or compiled out by default. I usually can persuade the other developers to fix the most egregious ones. Some of the other criticisms are just whinging.I've seen every incarnation of this post.
