I always thought I was a disaster on every level.But.For whatever reason, I was always ready to embrace improvement. I longed for it.My own dysfunction is becoming enmeshed with the most destructive people I can find.I broke that pattern, but only through hermitude.Both psychiatrist I saw told me that the damage is too great to overcome, and I've accepted it.It actually liberated me. Now I don't have to worry about myself. I've been freed up to think about others.

I don't think I'm crazy to believe that.Trump is the most important figure in human history. He planned his presidency for fifty years.He built his entire business empire as a disguise. The REAL purpose was to make contacts and talk with leaders about how to fix the world.By the time he was 36, Trump was saying that his opulent lifestyle was "cute" but meaningless.He found meaning in preparing for the deal of his lifetime.

King had been drinking heavily during the time he wrote it, so the demons of the hotel are like his own personal demons that he was trying to exorcise through Jack's character. Unfortunately, it seems like the demons won. You are right in that one can see the haunted look in his eyes these days.
