#Email provider that offer free mailbox (~500mb) with paid subscription too that respect's user #privacy and #security?Currently using #ProtonMail but I'm starting to think it's all hype. I was on #OpenMailBox before but their servers were unstable and some of their IP was marked as spam....

@gabriel I read some articles about ProtonMail giving away informations and a couple of sh*tpost about them and how they should've handled it. I just want some feedback on if I should switch. I'm currently not a paid user.

@Tutanota @utf8equalsX @DistroJunkie Thanks folks for stepping in! I wanted to get away from the big 5, or whatever.... Can I askk what you folks use? I read that ProtonMail did release some info about a user on an investigation blahblah... and people got mad on the internet. I just want something that will respect me and be reliable and secure. I'm not #Snowden, but I love to not have my data sold or given away easily.

@Extarys Don't worry about those random articles. Protonmail is "different" and it breaks users sense of what usability in email is.They've take a system where you could use any application to (basically) only the web interface. They've prioritise security rather than complete usuability. They may have suspended peoples accounts because of legal action, but they certainly cant hand over any data because its all seriously encrypted.
