I have very mixed feelings about this thing #Apple does where it arbitrarily cuts off older machines from new features. My 2013 iMac is running the macOS Catalina beta just fine, but it's "too old" to do the iPad Sidecar features.

@c0debabe It's so weird! They make computers that run for a decade, but only get software for 5-6 years. Or they'll get like half the updates?

@maxeddy Apple sells an experience first. We know what they expect out of those experiences. If an older machine drops frames under some test suite, out it goes.
