Munich was actually more interesting than I thought it would be, so I'm kind of annoyed that I didn't schedule it up front. Lots of big statues, old buildings and overt political graffiti.

Vienna's main station is way better than Munich's. Doesn't feel nearly as stuffy and looks a lot nicer.

Vienna has too many things to do and see. Went to a museum exhibit about Red Vienna (amazed it was on when I'm here), now off to see the longest public housing project.

Karl Marx Hof was pretty great. I also saw some interesting football club stickers on the light poles all around it. Now currently having a snack in the Danube Tower Cafe.

One of the best parts of the Red Vienna exhibit was this poster promoting a luxury tax. Other highlights were the scale models of buildings with cross sections and graphical statistics from the period.

A weird thing about Vienna is the amount of dogs in stores or on public transport, I swear I saw someon ride a scooter into a store as well.

Leaving Vienna today, definitely coming back if I go on another holiday. Euros make it expensive, but if you only eat at kebab places and get self serve coffee, it can be more affordable. The public transit system is also cheap and quick, one of my favourite things for sure.

People in public facing jobs in Austria seem friendlier and happier than in Australia. The guy telling us about Eurail passes was really hyped up about it and really helpful.

Here's some of the political graffiti from Munich. PAG is something from 2018 where cops in Bavaria were getting more power for security theatre reasons. NOS20 was a protest in Salzburg against a G20 meeting. The last one is probably "Football is a proletarian sport".
