it's extremely fucked up in my opiniom that ever since the 30s a concentration camp has to be part of a genocide in order to be called a concentration camp. of course the Shoah was the epitome of systematic brutality, of industrialised mass murder, but a concentration camp remains a concentration camp, whatever the context.
