Trying out Opera for the first time in like a decade since I somehow blew my Chromium profile away. Not bad actually.

@bkam they have a portable executable that I use at work. But it's just the chromium engine of course.

@kai Yeah very unscientific glance but it seems to use less resources than chromium.

@bkam I'm trying Firefox at home. I like Multi-Account Containers. At some point I should get away from Google.

@kai I'm kinda on that anti-cloud kick right now. So far just making sure I have backups of cloud stuff. Previously it has wound up with me running a mailserver which is probably overkill

@bkam ha, yes. Unfortunately my photographs, email, and calendar entries are littered all over various google accounts. I started running a mail server for an application at work and it seems surprisingly effortless using a dnsexit relay.

@kai Yeah I know what you mean re: having everything in there.Mailservers aren't too hard to run, it's mainly just finding out that actually people aren't receiving your mail and figuring out why that's annoying. There are other advantages (like using mairix which is great)

@bkam using dnsexit I didn't have any transmission problems. Since it's a paid service, they seem to police their reputation well.
