Oh also, before the Internet, I wasn't allowed to play video games during the week, soI tried watching the news but goddamn I fucking hated it. @coolboymew @didnt1able I found the French channels had some interesting stuff too. I never had cable either, so sometimes I would flip through and find some interesting gems. Recently, I'm noticing that French channels always seem to be playing lots of movies. Sometimes even old anime films.

@coolboymew @Kovaelin the o stands for Ontario I think so it makes sense. Radio Canada was the counter part I believe. Just not as good. I remember radio Canadas website. Basically all the French I know is from there

@didnt1able @kovaelin ah, ok, it was cable here tooI didn't get too much of a glimpse of YTV in the 90s, but when I finally got cable later in high school, I found the shows there mostly inferior to Teletoon FR/EN, the best stuff there was the nick shows, otherwise most other cartoon they had suckedMostly watched for the anime friday night until they scrapped that
