I want more and more to change my IRL firstname :think_starry_eyes: The problem is: I have a fucking long lastname. It's shitty but I dealt with it… until I created my company: all people make mistakes when they write my email address or my lastname and it is very problematic when it comes to legal stuff.Should I try to change my last name fist? (knowing that my mother will hate me because I will remove her lastname and keep my father one)

@DarckCrystale So the problem is : you need to change your last name but you want to change your first name ? Personally I tend to do what I need before what I want. Are there any legal implications to any of thoses changes ? It's really bad if your mother hates you for that but hey, it's your life, your choice, as I was recently reminded by a wise woman.

@alice I need to change my last name yes, and I'm afraid of those things:- the State refuse to change it- my mother hate me- it's difficult to change it- I need to change my company name according to my new name- I need to change it in all the places where I use my name My original post was a mix between oral thoughts and the hope some people here did it and could help me :)
