Check THIS out:"Children as young as 12 can opt for euthanasia in the Netherlands but only after a doctor determines that the patientโ€™s pain is unbearable."This is criminal. But Europe has a long history of allowing doctors to carry out crimes.

In 2013, Belgian psychiatrist Walter Vandereycken was exposed as having had sex with all his female patients for decades. He was the world's leading expert on anorexia.Despite his physical appearance as a cartoon molester, the European press did eerily romantic photo shoots of him.He was vigorously defended.

Euthanizing teenagers or children for depression is the mindset of my Australian stalker. He wants me dead because HE is terrified of HIS OWN mental illness. Most mental-health professionals enter the field to find out what's wrong with themselves. That's the fatal flaw of the system.Human frailty.

When I entered talk therapy, I told the psychiatrist that he needed to go after me as hard as he could. After an hour of conversation, he agreed.I saw him an hour a week for 18 months, and every session was productive. My life was already hell, so I wasn't afraid of pain or knowledge. But I was 34 years old, not 17.Anyone who euthanizes a 17-year-old for depression is morally a murderer.

Its the only way I got here, from there. As a senior in high school, I was trying to find a way to kill myself ... a way that wouldn't leave my parents with a mess to clean up. @ThomasWic I absolutely and sadly have to agree with you on this statement. EVERY single person I know who is a psychologist is a complete train wreck. Additionally most folks I know who entered therapy long term were never helped by the process. It certainly is a sad state of affairs.

@ThomasWic I am going to answer that question, Thomas. As I sit here responding to the Story I just read it's clear="WHERE ARE THE PARENTS?"They are RIGHT THERE, failing her a second, final time. This is the way Societies that have failed in uplifting or bolstering THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE can quietly sweep their failures out of sight. This was an ultimate act of Self Harm because her "people" would not vilify or hold her abusers accountable.

@ThomasWic Thomas, you have probably experienced more than hell, but you celebrate life. I know many traumatised people (including myself) who struggle, but live. But I also want to add, that - for obvious and terrible reasons - german professional organization of doctors decided in 2011, that german doctors are not allowed to assist suicide. Also organizations like the swiss Dignitas, who help in suicide, are illegal here (but there is a case about this before german high court).

@skhillx3 It is amazing what happens when you turn your focus away and toward better adventures. I was fortunate because my husband had already made a similar journey. We are both fortunate. Now we make a habit of collecting nice people. This week we're groaning though. On the biz side I think something's off in the planetary sphere. We've had a few cray cray clients and acquaintances. A good steak dinner is the remedy I hope.

@Joycevor For sure a nice tender steak should do the trick. ๐Ÿ’—

@Lisa22 @HockeyMom @ThomasWic You just reminded me with this post. I had a very difficult great grandmother who in her declining years suffered from dementia. In the 60s or 70s the family did attempt an exorcism with a local priest or bishop. I view this skeptically now, but honestly she was a piece of work according to my sister's family history digging, and my sister didn't remember her, I did.

@Debradelai @skhillx3 He he. You are a champ Saul. In my neck of Floriduh we are finally blessed with some butcher sources. Until Lucky's Supermarket arrived (Colorado) we were stuck with Whole Paycheck or a lovely but extortive local butcher. IMHO Costco is ok but meh. We paired it of course with baked potatoes and BUTTER and a nice fresh cucumber tomato and red onion salad. Mistero Cabernet Sauvignon. I think it's Chilean.

@Debradelai @skhillx3 Sadly no.I will remember these names. I'm in Naples, and the area is exploding. I do miss Wegmann's and I think they're in VA now, but maybe not close to you.

@Joycevor @skhillx3 I know the area well. There is one about 45 min -1 hr from you. Well worth the trip, but you need to do some homework first.

@Debradelai @skhillx3 Thank you for the tip. I think it's hilarious that one of the pleasures of aging is discovering new supermarkets. It's also amusing that folks here think an hour trip (or even 30 mins) is a great distance.
