Could someone please explain to me why there is so many anti-democratic people here on the fediverse that want's to censor the gab users and won't let them use the existing apps.I mean seriously their excuse usually is something like they are nazi's or they are fascists and ohhh i'm soooo scared of being offended. Well free speech means people are allowed to fucking offend you.I think they sound like the true fascists censoring people they disagree with so they can't voice their opinion.You can agree or disagree with gab allowing the very limited amount of Nazi posts there. But i think whoever dosen't mean they should have the right to voice their insane opinions are way worse.The easiest way to loose our democracy is to censor people we disagree with.No i'm not a nazi nor a fascist, i'm actually very much against them but i would die for their right to say what they mean.Our freedom of speech is in danger and i believe we all have a duty to protect it!#fedilab and #tusky should stand up against the walled gardens of google and apple and fight for a free part of the internet were people can say what they want, this would be exactly the same as if firefox or chrome blocked gab.com because users might post "dangerous" content because words are very dangerous you could risk getting offended.And for fuck sake your not a Nazi or a Fascist because you criticise Islam! (I actually haven't seen anyone doing that here on the fediverse). I think the "Nazis many of you reefer to is just people whom you disagree with.But yes there is a lot of people on gab criticing Islam but there is nothing wrong about that like there is nothing wrong about criticising Christianity, Budhism or any other fucking religion.Please consider were you where you stand in this fight, do you want to stand up for freedom or speech or won't you?#DontBlockGab

@kekuser Gargron brought a bunch of ultra-SJW types onto Mastodon because they thought Twitter didn't censor people enough and wanted to build a ResetEra-tier hugbox. Outside of the Gargron orbit people are generally more reasonable.

@ArdanianRight @kekuser Gargron doesn't know how good SJWs have it on Twitter. A centralized platform is far more capable of censorship and permabanning than a decentralized network is. For example instances are not, as far as I know, sharing machine fingerprints in a master blacklist, nor do they have access to the master panoptic blacklist Google, Microsoft, Facebook and Twitter are collaborating on.

@kekuser The irony is Gab isn't even a free speech site. It is heavily censored with layers of trickery to obscure this fact. Trends are rigged, there are no unmoderated live topics, no categories, so the only way to get traction is through heavily moderated groups which only PAYING Gab users can create. Those groups now hold all posts made by new unapproved members in moderation, so real controversy is never seen.

It's the "no thinking or facts required" solution.By immediately defaulting to the side of the party that claims to be victim, an exploit opens up. A perpetrator can falsely claim victimhood, and wield the authority figure against their victim as a weapon. The victim then can claim victimhood, but it will fall on deaf ears because the authority already sided with the perpetrator.Another factor that makes that psychopathic tactic effective is that usually even if their false claim is found suspicious, the perpetrator can muddy the waters with more lies and gaslighting until it becomes "he said/she said" and no judgment is made against either side. So there's no penalty for failure, and they can try again later.This is how "believe all victims" is the tool of perpetrators.
