@koenaro Comptia is like being a certified barista... My current employer required everyone to get one at some point, only for Gartner rating though...

I ask since there's one side of people who say it's important and then you have the other side saying "my boss thought it was ridiculous"I'm still trying to even get my foot in the door so I have no personal perspective from others yet

@koenaro Certs help no question there, any cert, just keep in mind the ones that are like "oh wow comptia" will probably make you question life later...

@koenaro Comptia, and then make sure your resume is filled with things people care about skill wise... nix, win, various business software (assuming you know that stuff) after that it's just charm a manager.
