@levi He called me a fag and said that I used too many big words and that fedi was garbage and he was going to make his own fediverse (which he kept popping in to ask people to join) so I said he was an idiot and incorrect, so he'd tag me randomly and I'd answer honestly and he'd call me a fag again. Today he asked if he could take down FSE and I said "No, thank you, don't DoS FSE": https://freespeechextremist.com/notice/9jDb7pHB6bCLwsmH7g .I can't find the other thread, but basically the guy had a habit of dragging me into threads to ask questions and then shit-talk, or just shit-talk, so I'd answer questions when asked and shit-talk when shit-talked.In other words, the man bullied *himself* off the internet, but his account's still there so maybe he couldn't figure out how to delete or he decided to cool off.

The 2nd I don't remember if I asked about admin of FSE but if i did it was in positive way. I had/have no beef with @p - I think is dumb to defend activitypub but he does a good job managing rough crowd. I was thinking of him to run instance of fediway.2) U is the one who berates others. I don't even know or care about any of these so called 'activists'.3) I never offered U a job...ever! I am interviewing for a marketing/communications person but I quickly figured out he is not the right guy for the position and I would never let him rep any biz I owned because he is kind of a creepy, pervy kind of guy. I asked him about his role at gab, which I still don't understand, to see if he was responsible for bringing in some of the big names they had. He wasn't but he was responsible for working as liaison for intelligence agencies. WTF! You started it U. I shifted the conversation to a short term contracted role and said that would probably be a better way to do things and said I would contact him in November. That is how we left it. Later, I learned that this POS records all calls with alt right characters and extorts them. Even if he is recording for "defensive" purposes he is jeopardizing others by creating those recording so I consider him a traitor, guilty of treason. The only S-talking I have done against this guy is asking him if this is true several times but he has yet to answer.Also, a friend of mine who also runs a popular alt tech site and has interacted with him told me to run, not walk away from this guy because he is bad news but didn't elaborate.So @u in conclusion, 2 quick questions:1) Do you record calls with alt-right folks, including me?2) Why and what where you communicating with intelligence agencies about as an employee of gab?

@p The term "doesn't scale" does apply. With AP you use more resources for 2 servers with 10 users each fully connected than you would for 20 users on a single server. AND if you tried to add in anything really global like search or tag filters, each instance would need to grab all data in fediverse, right? So each server would need to be able to handle like 2MM users and all their posts, right?That is what I mean by doesnt scale. They are intentionally leaving out features because of performance. That isn't good.

The information is out there, you should read some of the interviews or http://blog.soykaf.com/ . Every technical decision is either incompetence or a tradeoff.
