       Todd has made the decision to cut me off from future discussion. At this point, I'm fine with that. I that I wasn't being listened to after the last one, and there's no point in trying to convince someone if they will not listen.

       @thegibson @brainblasted I've seen discussions here relating to not just the Librem but a lot of other Purism products that makes me a bit cautious.Is there some balanced source of information concerning all this drama so that I can make up my mind?

       @loke @brainblasted That is hard to say... because I don't know how to qualify sources on this...I know what I have read thus far have certainly painted a picture that I don't feel comfortable with, and their responses haven't been stellar.accidentally leaving trackers in when it is trivial to look for that traffic, and rebadging open source projects without attribution have a very wrong vibe thusfar.

       @loke @brainblasted Not even begining to get into Chris's points because those are his experiences, but Their answers to his pointed and valid questioning have not been what I think we should see from any company, and especially one who is to be a champion of personal privacy rights.

       @kemonine @loke @TheGibson @brainblasted tbh, the lack of public timelines of any kind on their instance makes it so that the criticism is only visible from our end of the fediverse while their customers have no clue this is going down. I don’t think that they feel they ought to acknowledge anything coming from us since there is hardly any economic pressure to do so.
