I'm normally pretty chill about word usage but I'm sick of customers asking for "shelled peanuts" and me having to interrogate them to figure out whether they think "shelled" means "shelled" or "in-shell"

@proto i used to know a nutter who would eat peanuts with the shell. like. okay, i guess you like the taste of wood and dirt. you do you.asking for shelled peanuts is kinda crazy, like pineapple. i always just asked for peanuts if i wanted somne. if they were already taken out the shell it's not as fun. you don't get to break them before you end them.🥜

@fC I can understand not wanting to crack open and clean half a pound of peanuts if you're planning to cook with them. Also as a kid I used to shove the whole thing in my mouth and spit out the shells. That's how you get maximum salt!
