@thor companies have specialized in “conglomeration” for a long. Oddly, you’ve discovered it in the end that does work. Most people only encounter it fucking them over.

@thor that lost model cost my dad a 34 year pension. Left him to die in poverty. The small feeds the large and so forth. Larger groups merging is often a good thing, and this can be used to pave over the bad ethics. At the medium level, you mention, it seems like most employees are made happy and willing. Which is awesome.

@thor the model looking for retiring owners was responsible with my dad. The model which you talk about working for. Demoralized employees. Seems like a good thing to revitalize the work place.

@thor @mcread greed has always worked. Capitalism works. As long as people maintain ethics. This is the failure. It’s easy for the big business to forget the little guy, even if they’ve been loyal well past retirement. Some have amassed fortunes that it would take 5 generations of foolish family to squander. While others don’t even get what they were promised.

@thor sounds like it's fixing things more than breaking them.

@Wolf480pl @thor That could actually be smart. If you advertise/market, then you end up with a whole lot of time-wasting clients as well as a few good ones. This way they can see the books and buy up the customers they want possibly.
