watching someone play some Detroit: Become Human again and i just want to reiterate for the umpteenth time how striking it is to me how every single girl i know of who's played the game immediately picked up how when the dad said "ah yeah [kara] got hit by a car, stupid accident" that he ABSOLUTELY beat the shit out of her, but not a single guy i've ever seen play it has had that even occur to them, at least not enough to mention it
