       I'm getting an urge to knock over my main machine's arch install and put Gentoo in but I'm also wise enough now to know they plan involving Gentoo should be slept on before following through.Especially since class starts up again TOMORROW.

       @kalium what you do to solve this is, whenever you set up a machine, always partition it such that you have home on its own, root on another, and an empty third partition for when the urge to attempt a distrohop inevitably strikesthat way when everything fails to work, you can just boot back into the other system (unless something has gone incredibly wrong)
