@karen the main points are:- philosophers are myopic and don't study the implications of worldviews like furry even though they're important for many reasons- however, this is really a good thing because studying things from a distance is fundamentally transcendentalist (the divine is Somewhere Else), and to gain "clear sight" you have to fully see everything according to radical immanence (the divine is Here)- those who just behold at a distance also distance themselves from animals and thus become subjects to be manipulated and to manipulate the world at their "pleasure" (not really)- furries deconstruct the animal/human dichotomy in a natural and spontaneous way, not by borrowing indigenous concepts which are simply used to further the goals of capitalism- techniques like roleplaying, psychedelics and lucid dreaming further deconstructs the dichotomy and makes the animal more Real- the default "set and setting" of humans today is too see these rigid dichotomies like animal/human and spirit/matter, and it is only when they are fully deconstructed that one will be able to be "fully animistic" while still being human (he calls this "posthuman" as a thesis->antithesis->synthesis thing but I disagree with that as already stated)- phenomena like furry and otherkin are simply steps on the path to this, he calls this "folk posthumanism" as if the wisdom of the folk is somehow lesser- there is a dilemma between conservation and trying to preserve the world as it is right now, or acceleration and trying to make the world and humanity "better" through technological and scientific improvements- furry is a rejection of this dilemma, and an exit from transcendentalist ideas like transhumanism

The only way to change it, would be to remove and replace parts of it, but then it wouldn't be nature.There's nothing wrong with becoming something other than what your nature is, maybe you're happier that way. Maybe you can be a better person. But to me stepping away from my nature is to chain myself.
