It might sound corny at first, but try listing just three things a day you're grateful for. You can do it in a cheap notebook and no one ever has to see it but you.

@selfcare I did this for a while. Honestly it made me frustrated because I would have days where it's not like it was a bad day but nothing really stood out. I'd end up thinking "idk I'm grateful for oxygen to breathe I guess??"It felt weird to be grateful for the same thing for days in a row too (my cat, my cat, my cat) so I ended up stopping because it was more stressful to try to figure it out. Other things have worked better for me personally.
