       NOTRE DAME: likely a tragic accident. Consider:- the structure : 50 acres of 800+ year old dry oak beams. It doesn't take much to start an inferno on bone dry materials. A solitary match, or refracted sunlight through a piece of glass, is enough.- the time : fire started at around 18.50 local time, after hours. There wouldn't have been enough/any staff to intervene early.- the weather: NO RAIN in Paris since April 1 and a breeze when it started.        @PeakNonsense ,Hopefully you have heard about the #FudgeRule as introduced by @hnijohnmiller  (a.k.a. Comrade Fudge) and mentioned by @REX Many here at QV like to take a wait and see approach (24-48hrs) instead of jumping to conclusions or getting riled up because the media says to.
