@waifu @karen JTAG is the protocol that you typically use to debug modern embedded systemsbasically it's what you'd have to use to dump the RAM on a real console to do that (and that's assuming that JTAG dumping of RAM is even possible on release Nintendo hardware)

@waifu @bhtooefr @karen then there's the case where tournament teams take tons of time to prepare leaving little to no time to work out the kinksAs long as the stats are legal, i don't care if it's genned simply because sometimes it tales hundreds of hours to breed/reset before even training them to lv100

@cdmnky @karen @bhtooefr I mean, this is mostly talking about casual collector perfectionist.while casuals should just stop caring for "everything perfect but totally not hacking" pokémon and just have fun, competetive battlers should just do what they enjoy, competetive battling, and freely skip the fluoridated soft resetting and breeding for good teamslike, if a competetive player gens, he just makes his competetive team without ruining the game for anyone else, and that is fine by me.
