@Debradelai @MEMA I must be that old too. When we were stationed in Japan, my father bought my mother a turntable. And we used to listen to Sinatra, Bobby Vinton, Jim Nabors and the likes. We were at Fort Bragg North Carolina housing, while my dad flew missions out of Pope in 65. I was a young lad, but I remember well.Great music never goes away.Some things are timeless. Good thing too.

@Jaime @Debradelai @KenLarkin @JM I have done so with both my daughter grandchildren from the time the were little..singing, dancing, dressing up.. all of it.. we're very close.. now that they're older 15, 17, 19 we don't dance as much, but still sing.. both of my granddaughters have great pipes, especially my oldest, Isabella Lauren, she sings in the shower.. we reminisce and laugh about how silly we are with their respective boyfriends.. I am blessed 😉

@KenLarkin @Debradelai @MEMA I listen to Sinatra almost every time I drive my car... now my daughter also likes him and sings the songs. Sinatra never gets old... he gets better every day. A great, powerful singer. He had a very elegant way to “tell” the songs. A neat pronunciation. Many of his works almost reach perfection. Love him singing at the Sands with Count Basie Orchestra and the Album with Antonio Carlos Jobim.

@iamfree @Debradelai @MEMA I come from a musical family as well. My father played tenor banjo and violin, or is he would say, fiddle. All four of the boys in our family play guitar. Mom was into big band, dad was into ragtime, country western and old standards. My brothers were spread out in age so we listen to everything from Jerry Lee Lewis and Hank Williams Senior to Tommy The Who. Quite Diversified. I love it all as long as it's tasteful.

She had two pairs of the knee high patent leather go- go boots and she let me wear one. We thought we were the cat’s meow.Haha!!! And you know, we probably were. 🤪👍
