@REX @ThomasWic Absolutely correct. He reminds me of a phrase I never forgot that my Great Uncle told me we were listening to Paul Harvey on a Saturday at his saddlery shop. Paul was doing one of his stories of a fool like Shapiro (1968 while dad was in Vietnam). He had a way of prefacing his pearls of wisdom with "A wise man once said;" "You'll never learn anything with your mouth open". Like Thomas said. Follow the money.

@ThomasWic @REX I was a Cruz voter and not convinced that Trump was anything but a showman. When Cruz lost the nomination, I had to think about what I was going to do.When the bone-picking never-Trumpers descended and told Rush listeners to stop listening to Rush, and McMuffin popped up, I realized these people were nothing more than opportunistic weasels.I decided that the thing to do was to vote for the GOP nominee. After that I was able to listen to what Trump had to say. It ended well.

@ThomasWic @REX Ben Shapiro was one of the first follows I made on that other site and I learned nothing important from him. Limbaugh & Levin taught me conservatism while Shapiro advised that it was ok to be nevertrump and let Hillary win. I learned all about the coup d'etat against Trump from you guys while Shapiro was giving snarky responses to Jake Tapper's fake news. Shapiro accepts the goalposts AOC types creates and would debate within it.

@HuntinHippy @REX @ThomasWicI was just entering high school at the time and the Tet Offensive was still a big deal. Dad was at the Embassy when it all went down. But those Saturdays were my Nirvana as my Uncle Paul taught me mountains of wisdom with very few words and always perfectly timed. That is where I learned mechanics and machines. He let me explore and learn from experience, guided of coarse. Paul Harvey always came on at lunch time.
