@ThomasWic @MAGATrumpI love my boomer parents, but as an older millenial I have to disagree when they frame my younger relatives' musical performances (solos, small bits in plays) as little "rock star" moments.I just remind them of how arts careers are for prodigies or the privileged, while everyone is chained with debt in the end.Glamour-glory seems to come with affluence, though it seems kind of sick to say at least war wakes us up (must be "total war" though imo).

@JM @ThomasWic I'm not a doctor, but my observation is that the man is way off center. The wheels are coming off his bus in a very serious way. He was a suspect when his girlfriend killed herself. He's lived and done some very dark things. Who knows what's rattling around in that head?

@DuaneCates The memorial to the Canadian Pacific Railway members who died in World War One has one of the best angels I've seen.The expression is amazing. Incredibly subtle. The more you study it, the more you see.And the sculptor was named Coeur de Lion MacCarthy!He's got the same pained expression as his angel.
