mastodon.cloud uses tracking in emails?!? It has started somewhere between Oct 17 and Nov 14. Before, notification emails would contain links unchanged, now they're all pointing tourl779.mastodon.cloudIs that @Gargon 's choice or mastodon.cloud's?

@TheAdmin was there any discussion I may have missed about mastodon.cloud transforming links from posts into tracking urls, in the notification emails it sends? I'd like to know the reason.

Yes, it's making me uneasy!As Google's known for their draconic downrating of email servers that send 'too many' emails, maybe we're looking at some kind of misguided countermeasure.At any rate, I'd prefer if they't talk to me. I've probably just hit the wrong admins.@dredmorbius
